Smoke Detector Guard Compensator
Chase Security Systems’ UL-listed smoke detector guard compensator
enhances performance of the detector/guard assembly by concentrating smoke and
other products of combustion within a smoke detector guard, compensating for
reduced air movement through the guard’s 3/16-inch perforations. The
concentrator forms an X across the 8- x 8- x 4-inch smoke detector guard
crossing from corner to corner, and directs smoke upward into the guard,
amplifying the detector’s ability to find traces of smoke coming from any
direction.
