Digital Monitoring Products received the UL-636 holdup alarm units and systems listing for the 1142 two-button holdup transmitter. The belt-clip version meets the UL-1023 household burglar alarm system units accessory standard. The transmitter includes an external tamper switch and must be mounted on a surface. To decrease the risk of false alarms, both buttons must be pressed simultaneously. A built-in survey LED verifies two-way transmission for single-person installations.
