System Sensor’s ExitPoint™ directional sounder includes voice messaging. The product plays a recorded alert message that instructs occupants as they approach an ExitPoint device, including "stairs up," "stairs down," "area of refuge" and "exit here." Fifteen single and combination language choices include English, English/Spanish and English/French. The audio amplifier also produces a pulsating noise consisting of broadband low, mid and high sounds. Four pulse patterns can be used to create an egress pathway and to mark perimeter exits.
