Optex Europe and Raytec offer a combined camera/PIR Redwatch detector. The detector monitors the changes in infrared levels in the sensor's field of view and generates an alarm output when these changes correspond to the infrared signal created by an intruder. The detectors are single-ended devices and do not require a transmitter. The electronic processors use dual-threshold techniques with the wide-angle version incorporating tri-channel processing from the three dual-element pyroelectric sensors.
