The Pelco DX8100 series DVR is interoperable with existing DX-8000 series DVRs. A DX 8100 client can operate and administer a DX8100 and DX8000 in the same network. To add more security cameras, the new DX8100-EXP 16-channel expansion unit extends the eight- or 16-channel DX8100 series to 24 or 32 channels. All cameras offer an increased frame rate of 2 and 4 CIF recording. The series records video up to 480 fps at a maximum CIF image size. The memory capacity stores up to 3 Terabytes of data.

The modular make-up of the barrier also allows you to cover wider roadways by adding additional modules to the system.
