The Snapshell FDA is equipped with special software that can quickly read IDMarc digital watermarks and determine if a card has been tampered with in any way, including swapping a photo or changing a birth date. IDMarc digital watermarking is a covert security feature found in more than 60 million U.S. driver’s licenses and IDs, containing digital data woven into the artwork of the card that is imperceptible to the human eye.
