Access Control

With Smarter Security Systems' Fastlane Door Detective, once an access control system grants access and unlocks a door, active infrared beams from door-mounted enclosures monitor how many people pass through the doorway and in what direction. Alarms identify violations, and the technology virtually eliminates false alarms. The device now has a simple Cat-5 interconnect between the two enclosures. A separate input connects with an entry phone system to allow multiple authorized visitors to pass through without alarm. Infrared beams also detect attempts to crawl under it.
