The GigaVUE-420 from Gigamon Systems offers four 10-GB ports and 20 GB ports with four hot-swappable slots. The device can connect up to four 10 GigE span ports or optical taps or be used to interconnect or stack multiple GigaVUEs to form a high- density access fabric for access to monitoring tools. The mapping function divides traffic and distributes the packets to different GigE or 10 GigE tools.
