The Alcatraz ALD-810R DVR from Coastal Video Security uses the JPEG-2000 compression format for recording and playback and transmits on H.264. The rack-mountable, eight-channel DVR is equipped with motion detection, Internet accessibility, PTZ control, real-time display and audio recording. A built-in DVD-RW drive can be used to create backup video of any event and has an additional USB port for information backup. The VGA output standard enables the use of any standard computer monitor to view the system.
