Tamron’s two new varifocal lenses are compatible with 1/2-inch format megapixel-resolution cameras. Both the M12VM412 and M12VG412 models feature an F/1.4 aperture and a 4- to 12-millimeter focal length. The lenses offer uniform high resolution and high contrast from the center to the periphery. The lenses are more compact than their predecessors, and their multilayer coating reduces ghosting and flare. Their wider focal length of 4 millimeters gets a horizontal viewing angle of more than 90 degrees.
