The VideoSphere Edge Blade Encoder from March Networks is a 14-slot, 4U rack enclosure that supports up to 56 analog video streams and embedded video analytics. The encoder gives organizations a fully scalable, high-density solution that supports a cost-effective migration to all-IP networking by protecting existing investments in analog cameras while providing IP video management features. The system delivers full frame rate, D1 resolution video on all channels and simultaneous H.264 and MPEG 4 compression technology, which maximizes video quality and minimizes network data traffic.
