The EDSPS from Lantronix is a eight- and 16-port device server that allows serial equipment, such as medical devices, kiosks and retail terminals, to be accessed and managed via the Internet. The server is RoHS compliant and has strong SSH, SSL and AES encryptions. The Evolution OS ensures data transported through the EDS is protected from denial of service, port mapping and other hostile Internet attacks. The server also features industry-standard management tools and e-mail and RSS notifications of device activity.
