The PVE400 and PVE400M are robust, single-channel portable video encoders for capturing, encoding and streaming high-quality MPEG-4 video and audio through a wireless/Ethernet interface and recording to an internal flash disk. The compact and portable units are specifically designed to meet the needs of harsh operating conditions or critical/emergency response teams—including emergency management agencies, special militarized departments and local protection teams— and to deliver real-time video and audio information from outdoor environments back to a centrally managed control location to communicate point-of- view situational awareness.

Connected remotely via a portable computer device, it enables remote surveillance and does not depend on security staff patrolling the area.
