Mobile Advance Passenger Information System

3M’s Mobile Advance Passenger Information System features Mobile ID Reader and APIS client/server software. The product collects, stores, validates and transmits APIS data for customs and border protection officials. The software connects to any back-end system through XML Web services and supports batch and interactive APIS processing. The reader communicates collected data via cellular and WiFi networks. The unit collects data via one swipe of a passport MRZ, ID card, visa or other security credential.
