Tamron USA’s two 1/3-inch format 3- to 8- millimeter F/1.0 varifocal lens models are fast and IR-corrected while supporting 650-TV-line resolution performance (models 13VM308ASIRII -- manual iris; 13VG308ASIRII -- DC auto iris). The IR-corrected varifocal lenses use an optical design that Tamron engineers have developed by pursuing minimization of chromatic aberration in order to realize clear images without color smear. Other features include near-infrared corrected lens to match day/night cameras and a compact design.
