ImageScan Pro

The Ambir ImageScan Pro 580id Passport and ID Scanner uses camera-based technology to deliver precise images at fast speeds. The unit features TWAIN compliance for integration with thousands of security and visitor management software systems; color, grayscale and infrared scanning modes; an infrared filter that removes some background markings (e.g. watermarks, holograms, photos) for better scanned results and character recognition; and no moving parts. It is compatible with both 32- and 64-bit versions of Windows 7, Vista and XP.
