The Magnum 12KX Gigabit Managed Switch features 16 combo ports for copper and/or fiber ports and advanced bandwidth capacity. The workhorse backbone switch includes optional Layer 3 switching software capability, which allows the switch to more rapidly route large amounts of data in applications using complex networking techniques such as VLANs or multicast routing strategies. Surveillance and security applications can leverage the device’s performance, PoE option, long-distance fiber connectivity options, multicast routing and management protocols to aggregate large amounts of streaming video traffic.
