The wireless device is designed for robust performance in diverse climates and is ideal for gates, sheds, fences, detached garages or any outdoor area in a residential environment. When used with outdoor-rated magnetic pull-apart contacts, it can protect equipment like lawnmowers, generators and snow blowers. The housing is paintable, enabling the user to match it to any surface. The contact uses Total Connect Remote Services, which notifies end users via email or text messages when activity is sensed in the protected area.
