The high-speed crypto device protects critical data against unwanted eavesdropping, forgery or leakage while operating on a 667 MBps aggregate encryption throughput. The technology protects against layer 2 discovery vulnerability, making it ideal for end-point network intrusion detection or embedded system security applications. The address is invisible to the “black” side of the crypto, works as a transparent “Dark Node” to the outside world and operates on the Ethernet layer, so every byte in the Ethernet payload is encrypted.
