Metis Secure’s outdoor Emergency Help Station is designed for parking garages, outer building walls, and other outdoor spaces. In an emergency, people press the help button to reach security via a two-way, hands-free, live-voice link. For outbound communications, security personnel use the system to rapidly broadcast emergency alerts—for example, instructing people to seek shelter from a tornado, or warning them away from a building where there’s been a chemical spill. The IP-based system automatically monitors itself and immediately alerts system operators to any problems. It integrates with other systems, including outdoor speakers, indoor emergency systems and text/email alerts.
