emerald Reader and Controller In One

emerald is the evolution of the traditional access control reader from CEM Systems, a brand of Tyco Security Products. As one of the industry’s most multi-functional Intelligent Access Terminals, emerald features a reader and controller in one, a scramble keypad for PIN authentication, built-in Voice over IP (VoIP) intercom functionality and a range of remote applications that uniquely provide security intelligence at the door. Remote applications enable emerald to become a security intelligence point displaying real time security information and statistics, such as card status and top system alarms. Utilizing a built-in microphone and speaker, emerald also provides fully-integrated audio intercom functionality at the door, enabling two-way communication between users and security personnel.
