Axis Communications introduces two
cost-effective video encoders that can serve small to medium-sized surveillance
installations. The AXIS M7016 Video Encoder provides full frame rate video, is
attractive, cost effective and features easy entry to network video. The AXIS
P7216 Video Encoder features full frame rate video, adds audio and I/O ports
and is equipped with a small form-factor pluggable (SFP) slot for use with
fiber optics. Each uses one single network port, which drives down cost and
port density of the surveillance system infrastructure.
