2890B PDL Pedestrian Door Lock

2890B PDL Pedestrian Door Lock

The 2890B PDL Pedestrian Door Lock is the first lock designed to successfully meet United States Federal Specification FF-L-2890B for high security, pedestrian door locks. Type I and Type II are designed to combine unparalleled security of S&G Model 2740B electromechanical combination lock on the outside of the door with a simple, sturdy, ADA-compliant release handle on the inside. Type III and Type IV provides single motion egress, while meeting the highest government security standards. Push of the panic bar releases entire locking mechanism to allow for fast, intuitive egress. Type V and Type VI use some of the same heavy-duty components found in the more sophisticated Type I- IV units to construct a high security, auto-escape door lock mechanism.
