Mini Horn Notification System

Tyco Fire Protection Products announces the release of the UL-approved 520 Hz wireless low-frequency notification appliance and UL-approved wireless mini horn from CWSI, the wireless fire detection company acquired by Tyco earlier this year. The addressable fire alarm devices can be programmed for different settings directly at the device or at the panel. These two new devices complement the current CWSI line of commercial wireless fire alarm products. Ideal applications for the new 520Hz appliance and mini horn include multi-family housing, dormitories, retirement facilities, hotels and condominiums.

ResponderLink completes the circle from detection to 911 notification to first responder awareness, giving law enforcement enhanced situational intelligence they urgently need to save lives. Integrating SDS’s proven gunshot detection system with Noonlight’s SendPolice platform, ResponderLink is the first solution to automatically deliver real-time gunshot detection data to 911 call centers and first responders. When shots are detected, the 911 dispatching center, also known as the Public Safety Answering Point or PSAP, is contacted based on the gunfire location, enabling faster initiation of life-saving emergency protocols.
