OnSSI’s Ocularis 5 now supports Axis’s Zipstream technology. Together, the software and hardware components deliver increased amounts of video, while using less storage and bandwidth. The Ocularis 5 is based on a new recorder that accommodates a significantly higher number of cameras per recorder while maximizing HDD storage without the need for user configuration. It features automatic load balancing for managing recordings across system servers while reducing storage costs.
