Geofire’s Salamander radio controlled free-swing fire door closer and holder are battery operated and connect wirelessly to a mains-powered controller unit ensuring that fire doors will safely close in the event of a fire. They can be easily wired into existing fire alarm systems and one controller can manager up to 99 fire doors or holders. The Salamander range suits large buildings such as theaters and stadiums, where the acoustic units would not be suitable due to the background noise.
