Elpas' Low Frequency Beacon provides a powerful, flexible and affordable solution for hands free access control and asset security. The Beacon excites Elpas active credentials at tune-able ranges of between 0 and 5m for sub-second door control. It contains I/Os for door position monitoring and lock control plus a Wiegand port for integration with 3rd party access systems. A single Elpas Controller may be used to control up to 15 doors with a per-door cost that rivals standard proximity based solutions.
