Kwikset announced their newest SmartCode 916 Touchscreen Deadbolt, a touchscreen version of the company’s popular SmartCode 914 deadbolt lock. The SmartCode 916 provides all of the features of SmartCode -- including keyless entry -- combined with the added convenience and enhanced aesthetics of a capacitive touchscreen. Users can activate the SmartCode 916 with the touch of a finger. The touchscreen is very responsive, sensing contact quickly for fast code entry. Plus, the screen will auto-detect a correct code and quickly unlock. The cool white LED display provides crisp, high-definition LED illumination.
