Vicon Industries, Inc. introduced the new V988 line of 4K cameras, which deliver the sharp, highly detailed image quality of Ultra HD video. Available in dome and bullet style cameras, these new cameras feature a 3.6-11 mm motorized varifocal lens and IR illuminators, making them appropriate for use in a wide range of applications and lighting conditions. Video captured by these cameras allows users to take advantage of the full display potential of today’s 4K monitors and provides incredible detail without pixilation when zooming into recorded video for investigative purposes. Power over Ethernet eliminates the need for power cables, simplifying installation and reducing associated labor costs.
