Michael Rozin
President, Rozin Security
Michael Rozin is the President of Rozin Security, serves as a Special Deputy at Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office Crime Information Sharing and Analysis unit, and Course Director at University of Minnesota. Michael is the creator of the Suspicion Indicators Recognition & Assessment, a proactive behavior threat detection system. He worked at Mall of America focused on counterterrorism. Michael’s work has been recognized by DHS as a leading approach to securing large public venues.
Michael served in the Israel Defense Forces. After the military service he worked as a field protective agent for Ben-Gurion International Airport. Michael is a graduate of the Institute for Counter-Terrorism in Israel and completed the Advanced Security and Anti-Terrorism Training under the Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet). He worked as a principal security consultant for the Super Bowl 52 Host Committee.  

Ashly Helser
Special Operations Manager, Mall of America Security Department
Ashly Helser joined the security team at Mall of America in 2006, beginning her career as a part of the Risk Assessment and Mitigation (RAM) unit, MOA’s behavior detection specialists within the Security Department.  Overseeing the RAM unit, Ashly played an integral part in the continued development of the program until 2012 when she transitioned to Emergency Management to focus on Emergency Action Planning, which included the lockdown procedures for over 500 tenants, security communications, and access control.  Ashly returned to the Special Operations Unit at MOA in 2014 and currently manages the RAM program, explosive detection K9 teams, and security intelligence analyst, while maintaining her role as emergency manager. Ashly holds a degree in Law Enforcement, a Bachelors degree in Security Management, and a Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership.  Ashly has spoken for a number of universities and organizations on topics such as behavior detection, private security, proactive security measures for shopping malls, and emergency management.  Most recently Ashly was involved with security planning, coordination, and managing security assets for Super Bowl LII (52).
