Security Operations Centers (SOC) come in all shapes and sizes. SOCs range from in-house brick and mortar SOCs, to virtual SOCs operating in the cloud environment, as well as outsourced contract SOCs that serve multiple clients. Mr. Mattice is a highly-regarded management consultant who served more than 30 years as a senior executive with three different major global corporations. His corporate responsibilities included Enterprise Risk Management; Business Risk Intelligence; Brand Protection; Information Asset Protection (both physical and logical); Enterprise Resiliency; Cyber; Personnel Security; Physical Security; and, Corporate Aviation. Mr. Mattice has served in leadership positions with numerous prestigious government and private sector organizations during his career, including as a committee chair on a Presidential Task Force established by President George H.W. Bush that was focused at revamping the government’s National Industrial Security Program. He also served as a member of the Inaugural Advisory Board for the U.S. Intelligence Community’s National Counterintelligence Center, along with a long list of public and private sector efforts for which he has received many awards, citations and other forms of recognition. He is the author of numerous articles and has co-authored/contributed to a number of books on topics such as enterprise risk management, cyber security, crisis management and enterprise resiliency. He is board certified in risk and information systems controls and is certified as an expert witness at both the Federal and State Court level.
