Defending Global Security Market Panel Wednesday At ISC East

The Security Industry Association (SIA) and Reed Exhibitions will hold a panel session titled, Defining the Global Security Market, at ISC East on Wednesday, September 12. The one-hour event begins at 9:30 a.m. in Room 1A-06 of the Jacob Javits Convention Center. Featuring industry experts and investment strategists, this session will examine emerging global security markets, provide successful market entry strategies, and deliver a financial outlook and risk/benefit analysis.

“SIA is committed to identifying emerging global security markets and presenting this research in timely, data-rich reports our members can tap into when creating their long-term market strategies,” said Richard Chace, executive director and CEO, The Security Industry Association. “We view this forum as an opportunity to share our tools and resources with a broader industry audience.”

Panelists include:

  • Richard Chace, The Security Industry Association, will discuss the findings of SIA’s international market research reports on emerging security markets. Topics to be covered include: current market size broken out by sector and vertical market, including short and long-term forecast for growth.
  • Dean Russo, Reed Exhibitions, will talk about breaking into these markets. Topics to be discussed include: market entry strategies and examination of events in these countries that could prove useful for companies looking to test out the market.
  • Jeffrey Kessler, Lehman Brothers, will examine the big picture financial outlook for these emerging markets. Topics to be covered include: country’s background, investment success stories, challenges and issues of concern.
  • Joanne Thornton, Stanford Washington Research Group, will present a risk/benefit analysis of these markets. Topics to be discussed include: emerging trends, political situation, and social/economic forces driving demand.
