Bp.IP Lab Focuses On Protecting IP Security Systems

Six companies from the industry are sponsoring a conference during ISC West dedicated toward best practices for protecting IP security systems.

The Bp.IP lab will take place from 1:30-5:30 p.m. in Veronese Room 2503 each day of the conference -- Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

Sponsored by OnSSI, Intransa, Axis Communications, Veracity, MAXXESS Systems and Mercury Security, the conference is free.

“Today’s IP-based physical security environment has created an urgent need to address the issue of vulnerability, and conformance to IT standards for technology used in a networked security solution,” said Jeff Knapp, vice president of marketing for OnSSI. “The creation of the Technology Lab is designed to help users and our channel partners better understand the available option,  as well as answer questions on how to best protect a physical security system infrastructure.”

Attendees will receive take-home material, including direction on how security and IT departments can work together and collaborate to deploy technology securely.
