AlliedBarton Recognized for Recruitment Efforts in Texas
AlliedBarton Security Services, a provider of trained security personnel, has been recognized for its recruitment efforts by two Texas agencies.
The Texas Veterans Commission, a state agency that assists veterans and their families with federal and state veterans benefits and services, has selected AlliedBarton as the Employer of the Year in the large employer category.
Additionally, the Texas Workforce Commission, the state agency charged with overseeing and providing workforce development services to employers and job seekers, has selected AlliedBarton for the 2010 Employer Award of Excellence.
These awards recognize AlliedBarton’s efforts to promote employment, training and advancement opportunities, including those for veterans, within the state of Texas. “We are proud to work with state agencies in Texas and in other areas that share our commitment to putting highly qualified job seekers to work in our communities,” said Randy Dorn, division president of AlliedBarton Security Services. “It is an honor to be recognized by these agencies for our efforts to help those who were previously unemployed to establish new careers.”
“AlliedBarton’s network of recruiters throughout the state, and across the country, are dedicated to working with organizations such as the Texas Veterans Commission who understand that combat leadership and military discipline translate into dynamic employees that enhance an organization’s productivity,” Dorn said.
