Innotech Security Integrates Seawolf into Cameras

Pixim Inc.,, a provider of image sensors and processors for enterprise security cameras, announced Dec. 1 that Innotech Security Inc., based in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., has produced a full line of security cameras integrating Seawolf, Pixim's latest chip technology.

Customers now have access to cameras with 690 HTVL effective resolution as well as the industry's proven best wide dynamic range, according to a company press release. In addition, Seawolf-based cameras require just 0.1 lux of illumination to produce usable, color images at a full 30 frames per second.

"Innotech Security is one of the fastest growing security equipment manufacturers in the U.S." said Devin Benjamin, CEO. "By adding cameras based on Seawolf, we will be able to continue our pattern of growth while offering our customers the latest in camera technology."

"Innotech Security is the first American manufacturer to produce Seawolf cameras," explained Jeff Jones, Pixim's director of product marketing. "Now integrators concerned with buying American-made product will have access to a full line of Seawolf cameras."

Pixim's patented Digital Pixel System® technology empowers hundreds of thousands of pixels to act like individual cameras constantly self-adjusting. This all-digital system enables cameras to capture the whole picture, regardless of lighting condition or application.

Pixim chipsets are incorporated into more than 1 million security cameras installed in 100 countries worldwide.
