APX Alarm Makes Donation to Help Kids on the Move

APX Alarm Security Solutions, Inc., a residential security and home services company, has donated $25,000 to Kids On The Move, a Utah nonprofit organization that lends aid to young Utah County children living with Autism and similar developmental delays.

The donation directly helps children with special needs while also training and supporting their parents.

According to the company's press release, there are thousands of Utah County children living with Autism, Down Syndrome, and other developmental delays. Since 1986, Kids On The Move has provided ongoing support. Services are offered through home visits and personalized assistance with health care, therapy, support services, and additional education.

“Parents with disabled children are facing both emotional and financial challenges that are hard to handle alone. Our hope is that these families know they have a place to turn for ongoing education and support,” said Josh Houser, vice president of Service and president of the APX Family Foundation.

“APX’s contribution is a huge assistance in providing support and hope to families of young children with special needs,” said Eileen Chamberland, executive director of Kids On The Move. “We couldn’t be more thankful for the company’s continued support to helping countless families and children in need.”
