IP Technical Training Tour 2011

IP Video Technology Tour Adds Level II Training

Tri-Ed / Northern Video Distribution’s North American IP Video Technology Tour continues in 2011 with the introduction of the Level II training class. Dealers and integrators will have the opportunity to learn about the OSI Model, IP Naming Structure, Network Design Best Practices and Switch Basics. ESA certification for the Level II class is expected to be announced in early 2011, and Level I classes will be offered upon request.

The tour has attracted thousands of security dealers and integrators. The Level I, ESA-certified training class covers the basics of networking, IP configuration, as well as IP video and network video recording and prepares customers to compete in the growing IP arena.

Jeff Stout, Network Solutions manager for Tri-Ed / Northern Video, will instruct the 2011 classes, along with Mike Leary, Network Product specialist, who will lead the West Coast training classes. For schedule information, visit www.tri-ed.com.

“The trainings throughout 2010 were hugely successful and attracted substantial turnouts,” notes Pat Comunale, president and chief operating officer. “Our customers look to us for IP training. We’re committed to providing that to them to keep them competitive and on top of all the changing technologies.”
