Sensometrix SA and FUJITSU Limited Sign Worldwide License Agreement
Sensometrix SA and Fujitsu Ltd. have signed a global agreement that enables Fujitsu to sell the SensoBrain technology, a biometric booster for large-scale such applications as cashless payment, and physical and logical access control. The combination of Fujitsu’s PalmSecure and the SensoBrain technology put both companies in the position to serve markets that need large-scale vein applications requiring convenience speed and security.
“Being able to process million of users in a few seconds is a major step in biometric vein performances. No one on the market is currently able to provide such results while keeping high level of security and quick identification,” said Toshimitsu Kurosawa, global marketing and sales director of Fujitsu.
“It is the result of several years of R&D, representing a complete break with traditional applications. The present step is an acknowledgement for our company. We are moving forward to develop new algorithms aimed at improving the stability and the performance of biometric data processing,” said Nicolas Rebetez, CEO and co-founder of Sensometrix.
Fujitsu has been involved in biometric solutions for more than ten years and is known for its PalmSecure, a contactless palm vein reader
