DVTel Announces New Members of Management Team

DVTel Inc. announced several key senior management appointments. Previously announced, Yoav Stern is the new president and CEO of DVTel.

New members of the management team include:

Ami Amir, executive vice president of marketing and products;

Dan Hochberg, vice president of global business development, will lead all revenue generating activities;

Alice Roth, vice president of R&D;

New appointments:

Tomer Pinchas, promoted to chief financial officer.

Yacov Monitz, promoted to vice president of operations.

Avi Gerbi, appointed vice president of strategic alliances, in addition to being VP sales for Asia and Pacific regions.

Maria Cambria, appointed to VP support center of excellence.

Yaron Zussman, appointed to VP global accounts.

Paul Smith, appointed to VP sales for the Americas.

Ami Amir was the founder and CEO of RADVISION, a provider of voice and video over IP space, whose business he grew from zero to more than $70 million. Prior to RADVISION, Amir was the CEO of RAD Inc. (N.J.), where he grew the business from zero to more than $20 million in revenue. Amir has been a partner in Partech, an international venture capital firm and serves on a wide array of company boards. He has more than three decades of extensive technical experience, including years spent in R&D building large software-based communications systems, Internet-related technologies, real-time, embedded electronic warfare systems and developing various hardware and software products.

Dan Hochberg brings broad experience with several technology companies at different stages, starting from COMET Intl. where he ran the local US subsidiary, turning it profitable within a short period of time. Hochberg established and ran RADVISION operations in Asia Pacific, where he was in charge of both its technology and networking solutions. Later, he served as VP sales, business development, marketing and product marketing for the technology business unit. In his latest venture, Hochberg co-founded Axxana, a start-up in the disaster recovery and business continuity market, where he was in charge of business development.

Alice Roth is the most recent addition to DVTel’s senior management team and has more than 25 years of experience in multiple disciplines including leading R&D teams in complex project lifecycles, operational post-merger integration and management of advanced product development. Prior to DVTel, Roth led a variety of teams in companies such as Verint, TTI Telecom and iCentric Solutions. Most recently, in AMDOCS, she promoted OSS sales in Europe with focus on defining and assimilating win-win engagement models with system integrators. Prior to that, she established and managed a large distributed team maintaining overall responsibility for the design and development of all projects based on the OSS Cramer set of products. Roth also is fluent in six languages.
