iStopOver Selects SafeMart to Offer Interactive Alarm Monitoring to Its Hosts

iStopOver, a provider of vacation rentals and short-term accommodation, has selected SafeMart, home security provider, to provide home security systems to iStopOver hosts. SafeMart's home security systems address security matters germane to the vacation rental and short-term accommodation space.

"SafeMart's LiveWatch interactive alarm monitoring and Plug & Protect delivery are two components included in the home security system designed for iStopOver," said Joseph Thomas, SafeMart's Director of Technology. "By creating a system that can be controlled remotely and activated in less than 30 minutes, we've engineered a home security system that will allow iStopOver's hosts to use the service without worrying about vandalism or theft."

SafeMart introduces important features to iStopOver's customers including remote monitoring of rooms containing valuables, environmental monitoring as well as protection against fire, flood, freeze and carbon monoxide. iStopOver hosts will benefit from remote control of door locks, access codes, thermostats, lights and video cameras. SafeMart and iStopOver customers are able to monitor their homes from anywhere in the world with police and fire departments on call.

"As we grow our business, security continues to be top of mind," said Anthony Lipschitz, CEO of iStopOver. "In selecting SafeMart, we are being proactive to ensure the experience we provide our guests as well as hosts is fun, convenient and most importantly, a safe one for all concerned."
