White Oak Technologies Taps Michael Fox to Head Corporate Strategy

White Oak Technologies Inc. (WOTI), a technical solutions provider for the intelligence community, announced it has appointed Michael Fox as chief strategy officer and senior vice president for corporate business development. As a key member of WOTI's executive management team, Fox will use his industry experience and leadership skills to guide the company’s continued growth in the federal government marketplace.

WOTI, which specializes in identity resolution, cybersecurity and data analytics, was founded in 1996. In November 2010, Arlington Capital Partners invested in the firm through a portfolio company, Data Technologies & Analytics LLC (DTA). DTA is focused on addressing the country's most pressing national security needs by using organic and acquisition-based growth to deliver technology-rich software and IT services to the intelligence community.

Fox joins WOTI from Attain LLC, where he held a similar position. Prior to Attain, Fox spent more than two decades at SRA International Inc. There, he managed a centralized marketing and sales organization that provided full lifecycle business development and capture support to SRA's civil, national security and global health sectors. As the head of SRA's corporate strategic development, he was also responsible for leading the firm's strategic planning initiatives; spotting future technology and market trends; devising marketing strategies and campaigns; identifying and integrating potential M&A targets; and leading the company's largest and most significant capture efforts.

"Michael brings to WOTI an impressive background in corporate business development and strategic operations," said Wayne Wilkinson, the firm's president. "His depth of experience and proven track record in the federal contracting community will be extremely valuable in helping us strengthen our footing in the government technology market."

Fox holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in mathematics from the University of Rochester and an MBA from Northeastern University's High Technology Program. He is active in numerous industry organizations, including TechAmerica's Public Sector Board of Directors, AFCEA, the Professional Services Council and the Northern Virginia Technology Council.
