MANDIANT Names Gregory Enriquez Vice President, Worldwide Sales

MANDIANT, a provider of advanced threat detection and response solutions and services, has named Gregory Enriquez as vice president of worldwide sales. Enriquez previously led worldwide sales, business development and marketing for Symantec’s Norton Data Services business unit. He will be based in Alexandria, Va. and responsible for leading and scaling MANDIANT’s worldwide sales team to meet the demand for enterprise-grade threat detection and incident response products and managed services.

Enriquez began his career in 1981 with IBM and ascended to the rank of vice president worldwide industry sales, software group, with responsibility for products to meet the market-specific needs of 15 vertical industry sales organizations. Among his other executive assignments, Enriquez served as vice president of Tivoli's Americas sales organization following the company’s acquisition by IBM.

From 2004 to 2008, he served as senior vice president, worldwide sales and field operations for Stratus Technologies, a fault tolerant server company. He joined Symantec in 2009 and most recently led worldwide sales, business development, marketing and services teams for its Norton Data Services unit.

“Greg has built an outstanding track record of consistent sales and business development success at world-class software and services organizations,” said Travis Reese, MANDIANT president and chief operating officer. “We are excited to welcome Greg to the MANDIANT team and look forward to his many contributions.”

“MANDIANT is the leader in incident response and provides the products and services to solve the most complex cyber attacks,” Enriquez said. “I am thrilled to join the executive team and lead the field organization to provide our solutions to a broader set of clients.”

In May, MANDIANT launched the second generation of MANDIANT Intelligent Response (MIR), the company’s flagship incident response solution. MIR provides advanced threat detection, enabling information security professionals to proactively identify and respond to compromised systems at the endpoint.
