IndigoVision Makes Three Announcements at ISC West

IndigoVision, manufacturer and supplier of end-to-end IP video surveillance systems, will make three announcements at ISC West.

IndigoVision will preview Camera Gateway, part of its next release of software, SMS4 release 5, which will be released in May. Camera Gateway allows cameras from top IP camera manufacturers to be integrated into the IndigoVision SMS4 system, making it easy to upgrade a client’s existing IP-CCTV systems to a quality IndigoVision solution. Camera Gateway takes video and audio streams from other manufacturers’ cameras using their own protocols and enables users to view the streams in IndigoVision’s Control Center. The cameras can then be controlled, viewed and recorded in the same way as IndigoVision cameras.

Marcus Kneen, IndigoVision CEO, stated: “Camera Gateway is a game-changing product making IndigoVision SMS4 the open system of choice. Combined with our conformance to the ONVIF standard, and our integration with other management software, SMS4 Release 5 and Camera Gateway establish IndigoVision as one of the most open IP security systems on the market.”

ISC West 2012 will also see the launch of IndigoVision’s 11000 HD Fixed Dome camera. This new HD Fixed Dome includes the very latest Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) technology, providing excellent image quality under every lighting condition. The new camera broadens IndigoVision’s range of high definition cameras that don’t compromise on bandwidth or low-light.

Finally, IndigoVision is very pleased to preview its exciting Mobile Center, allowing users to monitor their surveillance systems remotely on iPads and iPhones, in real time and with high quality video. This will increase ease of access and usability for many of IndigoVision’s customers, who can now maintain visual contact with cameras from wherever they happen to be. Users will have access to PTZ controls, including presets, and can save and send video snapshots. Surveillance staff and management can keep in touch with what is happening across a site from their mobile devices, while people dealing with a situation can access accurate information first hand, without having to communicate back to a central control room.
