Web TV Production Studio Using New Cameras to Stream Live Concerts Around the World

Benow.tv, a Web television-production studio, is using cameras to stream live concerts from premier clubs around the world.

“Every night in cities around the world there are amazing musicians performing in intimate venues. Until now, you weren’t able to experience those performances unless you were there,” said Brian Gruber, founder and CEO of Benow.tv. “Today, Benow.tv is changing that. We’re leveraging the power of the Web and today’s best video-streaming technology to bring live music to you, wherever you happen to be.”

The company set up new Axis P5534 PTZ Dome Network Cameras in clubs in Milan; London; Oakland, Calif.; and Seattle. The cameras provide HDTV-quality video to Benow’s subscribers and allow Benow to control the cameras remotely.

Benow plans to expand to 100 more venues, including clubs in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil; New Orleans, LA; Chicago; Memphis, Tenn.; and Austin, TX.
