Morse Watchmans Unveils New Look, Expanded Technology

Amid the sea that is the ASIS 2012 expo floor, the Morse Watchman's booth (No. 1531) stands out like an unexpected oasis with vibrant green branches sprouting out in palm tree fashion high above the displays below, offering a sort of shade to weary attendees.

That fresh look is part of the company's new branding unveiled here on Monday, a push also reflected in the layout of its corporate website and revised collateral materials, all of which emphasize expanded technology and integration capabilities in its line of key control and asset management systems.

Prominently on display at the booth is version 1.2 of the KeyWatcher Touch system, version 1 of which the company introduced last year, at ASIS 2011. The new and improved version features quicker touchscreen reactivity, greater flexibility in generating a variety of customized email and SMS text notifications and several industry firsts including integration of multiple locations and common usage of database and programming. Other firsts include the time-saving KeyAnywhere capability that allows the return of a key to any KeyWatcher Touch cabinet in the enterprise and the KeyFind feature that quickly enables administrators to locate which KeyWatcher Touch a specific key is in, or determine who has it out. New at ASIS for KeyWatcher Touch is.

"Key control and asset management systems are an integral part of an overall physical security systems platform, and our booth at ASIS demonstrates the possibilities to improve security and efficiency, too," said Fernando Pires, Morse Watchmans VP of sales and marketing, Morse Watchmans.

According to Joseph Granitto, the company's director of technology solutions, KeyWatcher Touch v. 1.3 will be available in about a month.

Other products featured at the booth include the KeyWatcher Illuminated key control system, which can be configured with a variety of modules and customized to specific user needs. In addition to several differently configured key modules, available modules include the credit/access card module and the single and dual locker modules, which can be used in any KeyWatcher system for holding small valuable items.
