Polaroid Flagship NVR will Support 250 Cameras

Polaroid Flagship NVR will Support 250 CamerasPolaroid professional security system customers can now obtain a complete line of network video recorder (NVR) and hybrid digital video recorders (DVR) that are plug-and-play and ready to work with over 1,800 cameras from 80 different manufacturers, virtually every video surveillance camera on the market today. The NVR/DVR ships with configured IP server, monitor station, web client, health monitor and long-term storage software included. It will have a 10-year warranty.

“Integrators and their customers do not want to wait to get their NVR installed and recording once they receive it,” stressed Allan Markoff, CEO of PRD International, manufacturer of Polaroid professional security systems. “They want to plug it in and start recording. In addition, once installed, they do not want to wait to get at their recorded images. They want to get at them instantly. With our Polaroid series of NVR’s and other control room equipment, that is exactly what they will get.”

The new Polaroid NVR, being intuitive and using map-based navigation, requires little to no training. With a single click, a user can export recorded video to instantly provide video to law enforcement or to proactively gather business intelligence, improve customer service and enforce corporate policies among other applications. From any client, management can obtain centralized viewing from live and recorded video.

The new NVR supports a maximum 250 channels. It also supports H.264 dual-stream compression, composite streams and video stream encoding. The DVR is one of many Polaroid enterprise-class solutions that will be cost-effective for small, multi-location organizations including analog, digital and IP cameras; NVRs, DVRs and hybrid DVR recording devices; video management software (VMS), wire and cable – all carrying the world famous Polaroid logo.

Product highlights will also include the IP camera family with up to a 20-Megapixel resolution, or the analog camera family with 700 TVL resolution, license plate recognition cameras and the 14-Megapixel 360 degree fisheye camera. Polaroid professional security system customers will receive a 10-year warranty. No other company offers such a long-term warranty.
