IC Realtime Delivers Immersive View 360 Degree Surveillance CameraAt the 2013 CEDIA Expo video surveillance brand IC Realtime is showing its first 360-degree cameras. Called Immersive View, the technology utilizes a single multi-megapixel sensor combined with high-resolution optics to display a 360-degree vantage point with no blind spots and without any moving parts.

The imaging technology allows the user to see, record and playback the full 360-degree field-of-view, ensuring that activity is recorded anywhere in the scene at all times. The platform also features proprietary de-warping algorithms which re-encapsulates the images for forensic and evidentiary purpose.

According to IC Realtime CEO Matt Sailor, the company’s Immersive View technology represents the next major breakthrough in video surveillance and security technology.

IC Realtime’s Immersive View technology is available in five camera versions (3, 5, 8, 12 and 14-megapixel models) with a wide assortment of lenses. MSRP ranges from $1,000 to $5,000 depending on model. The models are shipping now.
