Fluidmesh Donates Wireless Equipment to Aid Boy Scouts of America

Fluidmesh Networks, a provider of wireless backhauling systems for security, industrial, and mission-critical applications, recently donated wireless radios to the Boy Scouts of America. The donation will facilitate wireless capability to assist the Scouts' new STEM program that covers science, technology, engineering and math.

The equipment will be used at the Camp Lakota facility in Woodstock, Illinois to broaden the scope of the programming they can provide to the scouts, parents and other youth that visit the camp. Lakota allows Scouts to explore the wilderness and offers a year-round program for the youngest Tiger Scout to the Eagle-bound Scout and beyond to the Venturing Crews.

The donation was facilitated through Anthony Valle, sales engineer at Avigilon, a Fluidmesh technology partner. Valle is on the Northwest Suburban Council of the Boy Scouts of America and called upon Fluidmesh to help with the cause.

"It is because of scouters such as Anthony and the generosity of companies such as Fluidmesh that we are going to be able to continue to provide great programming in a safe environment," noted Emily Rinaldi, Northwest Suburban Council, BSA, Lakota director. "This act of good will means so much to us."

"We are very happy to help in the effort to assist the Scouts' STEM program and advance their programming in science, technology, engineering and math," added Cosimo Malesci, Fluidemsh co-founder and VP of sales & marketing.
