So Much to See, So Much to Tell

It's really nice being a part of Security Products magazine and Security Today because I get to learn all about what's going to be at ISC West before the show. Not only does this help me to adequately plan and customize my tradeshow experience and schedule booth meetings, but it allows me to bring our readers the latest and greatest when it comes to the security industry.

For the past three months, I have received a barrage of emails from various companies directly or from their PR firms inviting me to their booth to experience security products hands-on. So, from the moment I step off the plane in Las Vegas on the morning of April 2nd until I step back on the plane to head home to Texas on April 4th, I'll be experiencing security at its best.

I'll be stopping by Brivo's booth to try out their Google Glass app, OKDoor that remotely unlocks doors as well as interact with their new user interface on Brivo OnAir, their cloud-based access control and video management solution.

Barix has promised some fun with their out-of-the-box solution for marrying fixed and mobile paging over IP, "Simple Paging," while Boon Edam has offered me the opportunity to learn about turnstiles. In fact, Boon Edam's Speedlane 2048 optical turnstiles will be at all exhibition entrances, totaling over 30 turnstiles in action!

I'll also be heading to IC Realtime's booth to talk about their 10-year parts and labor warranty with lifetime, 7-days-per-week technical support, and then swinging by Speco Technologies to witness their EZ IP demonstration promising to take me from zero to IP in less than 60 seconds!

With over 40, hands-on-type meetings scheduled, there is no way I could describe all the fun I'll be having, but be sure to follow me on Twitter (@GingerHill13) for up-to-the-second ISC West 2014 updates!
