Synectics Adds Axis Door Controller to Synergy 3 Integrations

Synectics is an Axis Application Development Partner; being part of this program ensures product compatibility and helps software developers provide reliable and optimized network video solutions for any industry segment.

The new integration enables management of the AXIS A1001 Network Door Controller via Synergy 3, which provides a wide range of functionality including: centralized management of connected devices; visual verification on alarm activation; anti-pass back alarms; and escort alarms.

The level of management and control available provides a valuable situational awareness tool for operators, suitable for single or federated site surveillance.

David Aindow, product and technology director at Synectics, said, “Our commitment to third party integration through the delivery of open architecture solutions underpins the scalability and flexibility that companies we serve require, providing maximum freedom of choice for end-users when selecting vendors.

“This is something we are only able to achieve as result of our commitment to forging close working relationships with key industry partners, as exemplified by our status as an Axis Application Development Partner.”

Daren Lang, Axis Communications, regional manager, business development, Northern Europe, said, “At Axis we value strong relationships, and working collaboratively with partners like Synectics to integrate our technologies ensures our customers benefit from a wide range of well-integrated solutions.”

The Synergy 3 command and control platform offers integrated video, data and alarm management, including incident management, collaboration tools and automated workflows for proactive and accelerated response to critical events.
